How to prepare decoction from the Rosehip

To properly prepare the rosehip decoction and get the maximum benefit from it, we should know that the ratio of rosehip and water should be one to ten, that is for the 200 ml of water we need 20 grams (1 tablespoon) of rosehip. Before you prepare a decoction, rosehip fruit can be crushed using blender or food processor, this will decrease the time for decoction readiness. To prepare the decoction, water with rosehips should be brought to a boil, then removed from heat and let sit in a thermos or a sealed container for 4 to 10 hours. If desired, honey or sugar can be added to a decoction for a better taste.
