TASTY, HEALTHY AND NUTRITIOUS ALMOND MILK
Almond is a rich source of vitamins and minerals, it has a positive effect on the cardiovascular system, normalizes metabolism and improves eyesight. Recent studies have found another advantage of this product: the daily consumption of almonds promotes the development of beneficial bacteria in the gastro-intestinal tract, which improves digestion.
Almonds contain minerals (magnesium, zinc and iron) and vitamins B and E – natural antioxidants that help to treat and prevent heart disease. Almonds are also a good source of calcium.
1/2 glass of almonds (pre-soaked for 10-12 hours, you can simply pour them with boiling water for a few minutes and easily remove the skin);
- 4 tbsp. of water;
- 2 tbsp. of honey;
- a pinch of salt
* Whisk all ingredients in the blender
* Strain the content of the blender through the cheesecloth.
* You can cool the milk before usage.
* Store in the refrigerator no more than three days.
* You can drink it with fruits and even use in cosmetics.
We suggest you cooking something delicious from the remaining bagasse, for example biscuits.
300 grams of almond bagasse, 1 egg or 1 banana (mashed with a fork), sugar or honey. Mix all the ingredients and spread pastry on the oven tray with a spoon. Bake at 170 ° for 15 minutes (if you use egg) or 25 min. (if you chose banana).
