Hysteria is characterized by the general weakness of the nervous system along with the imbalance of signal systems. Hysteria leads in increased emotionality, suggestibility, selfishness and egocentricity, frequent changes of mood.
Hysterical reactions are expressed in the form of seizures associated with emotional experiences, motor disorders, visual disturbances, and so on.
The most important step to prevent hysteria is creating conditions that reduce the possibility of psychological trauma. Besides the basic treatment, it is recommended to take sedative teas, which include mint. These remedies have a strong sedative and anticonvulsant effect.
